Katy Perry donates to TLC’s Kickstarter goal for their final album
A whopping contribution has been made alongside the group’s loyal fans.
Good news for TLC and fans alike, the Kickstarter set up to fund their final album has been achieved a month before ending. The original goal of $150,000 has been met and at the time of writing, stands at just under $200,000.
Alongside loyal fans and backers, Katy Perry has also donated to the fund, reportedly offering up $5,000 to remaining members T-Boz and Chilli. Perry has bagged herself a slumber party with the duo because of her backing. In an interview with Yahoo Music, T-Boz stated her gratitude saying “it’s just heart warming to know that you are supported by your peers”.
The campaign was launched due to overwhelming high demand from fans, notably after the TV movie ‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story’. Head to TLC’s Kickstarter page here to donate more to the fund.
