Kaytranada has remixed Gorillaz’ ‘Strobelite’

A couple of weeks back, 2D, Noodle and the gang hit a London club and danced the night away in the video for ‘Strobelite’, the latest single from Gorillaz’ most recent album ‘Humanz’.

It had already been revealed that a new remix of the track by Canadian producer Kaytranada was on the horizon, but we finally get to hear what his version sounds like. Unsurprisingly, it keeps much of the danceable, soul-infused nature of the track but just turns the (strobe) lights down a little lower, ramping up the hip hop beats and putting some the producer’s signature spin on the tune.
