Laura Marling shares new ‘Gurdjieff’s Daughter’ video
Track is taken from the chart-bothering ‘Short Movie’ album.

Laura Marling has unveiled a journeying new video for her ‘Gurfjieff’s Daughter’ track, shot in a single take at her Los Angeles house.
She’s since ditched the LA glitz for a more close-to-home London life - we explored why in our March 2015 cover feature, where Marling discussed the dramatic life events that influenced her ‘Short Movie’ album.
Gurfjieff - the subject of this song - was a spiritual teacher who believed in a higher state of consciousness. The new video features cameos from Marika Hackman, Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and Jonathan Wilson.
