Les Sins previews new album with ‘Talk About’ track

Chaz Bundick is fast approaching the release of his first ever Les Sins full-length, ‘Michael’, running separate to his glitzy day job as Toro y Moi.

Things aren’t always so rosy in the world of being a musician, mind you, and this is addressed immediately in ‘Talk About’, the opening track on Les Sins’ new LP. It begins with a pitched-down, apathetic vocal sample - “Talk about your newest record… And, where did you get the name?”

Beyond the box-ticking questions, ‘Talk About’ doesn’t follow any dull guidelines. The track blends deadly, ominous samples (talk of “two got shot” picturing a crime scene) with Bundick’s customary, house leanings.

Les Sins’ ‘Michael’ album is out 3rd November via Company Records (Chaz’s own label alongside Carpark Records).
