Listen: Anna Calvi Previews New Album With ‘Suddenly’
All-exhaling preview of ‘One Breath’ is a stormy, heady strum.
second album, ‘One Breath’, is beginning to take shape, with the suitably grand ‘Suddenly’ being the third track to be previewed from the LP.
First came ‘Eliza’, then ‘Sing To Me’. Recorded in both Dallas, Texas and the French countryside, ‘Suddenly’ acts as an album opener, running from light strums to a quiet storm. All very cinematic too, such is Calvi’s take on things.
Listen below. ‘One Breath’ is released via Domino on 7th October.
