Ballet School signings offer a dose of nostalgia from their ‘Boys Again’ EP.
Berlin nostalgists Ballet School haven’t been keeping it on the downlow - last week’s ‘Crush’ video landed as Neu’s favourite of the week. An onslaught of excitable vocals from Rosie Blair and surging Cure-esque guitars, ‘Yaoi’ ups the anti with another effort of refined retro-pop.
Taken from their ‘Boys Again’ EP - out now on Bella Union - ‘Yaoi’ is a fast-paced spree of boldly declared chants, coming off like a high speed car chase in musical form.
