Listen: Bondax Unveil New Track ‘Fires’
Production duo are putting the finishes touches to their debut album.
Lancaster production duo Bondax have been staying in London over the last couple of months, working on their debut full-length, due out in 2014.
Adam Kaye and George Townsend recruit Josh Record for their new track ‘Fires’, with gets by on skittering rhythms and ocean-drop synthetics. Everything melts into one, ever-flowing glaze. It’s the complete opposite of, say, the amped-up ‘Giving It All’.
DIY recently spoke to the pair about their debut. ‘We’ve got a theme the whole way through it actually,’ says George. ‘It’s through the course of a day, and the tracks fit into different parts of the day. It’s basically the Bondax version of 24. I’d love it if we could make mini-episodes to each song.’
