Listen: Dirty Projectors Share B-side, ‘There’s A Fire’

The track features on the band’s limited edition 7-inch single.

Do Dirty Projectors ever stop? Last summer saw the release of the band’s sixth studio album, ‘Swing Lo Magellan’, and it wasn’t even autumn properly before they’d announced the release of the ‘About To Die’ EP, pairing one of the album’s tracks alongside three new songs.

Then towards the end of last year, a video was put forth for ‘Offspring Are Blank’, another song taken from ‘Swing Lo Magellan’, the footage taken from Dave Longstreth’s short film, ‘Hi Custodian’.

That song featured on a limited edition 7-inch single last month, pressed for the band’s appearance at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

The flip side was a new track, titled ‘There’s A Fire’, which has now been made available to stream online.

Dirty Projectors have a summer of festival appearances ahead, including Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, and Sasquatch!. They will also be supporting The National on tour in North America.
