Listen: Drop Out Venus Share New Track, ‘Morning Star’
The song was released at 5.37am this morning, to celebrate the passing of Venus across the Sun.

Drop Out Venus are a new band hardly lacking in ambition - this is something we discovered from the moment we first heard them, right through to the release of their recent, 34-song cassette, made up of short clips and four standalone tracks.
Alas, the Deptford band did not disappoint when their star of choice passed the sun, all silent up in space. At 5.37am, probably at some stage between their dawn-breaking practice sessions, they uploaded a new song, ‘Morning Star’, to celebrate the passing.
The song itself shows off a grittier side - perhaps the greatest translation of their intense live show to date - when compared to the wonderful ‘Love In Vein’. Stream below when the stars come out:
