Listen: Ellie Goulding & Angel Haze Collaborate On ‘Life Round Here’ Cover

‘Life Round Here’ track first got a new boost of momentum via a Chance the Rapper guest spot. Then the producer won the Mercury Prize (no big deal). Now the song’s picked up a cover from chart-topper Ellie Goulding and NYC rapper Angel Haze, linking arms in singing ‘everything feels like touch down on a rainy day.’

Angel recently digitally released her ‘Dirty Gold’ debut, while Ellie’s been nominated for British Female Solo Artist at the BRITs 2014. She’ll also perform at the 19th February ceremony.

The cover itself is a slick meeting of minds, Angel’s cutting verse towards the end being a standout moment.
