Listen: Empty Pools Stream ‘Slack Tide’ Track
Bristol-based band continue to stir up expectations with their supremely clever new track.
Bristol shape-shifters Empty Pools have, ironically, offered plenty to dive right into with their forthcoming debut ‘Saturn Reruns’ (due out via Battle Worldwide, 4th November).
Building on from the no-prisoners ‘Exploded View’, ‘Slack Tide’ is another take from the record, acting as a second single. Backed by a harmonica section, of all things, it’s built on driven guitars and instruments that sound close to collapsing half the time.
Stream Empty Pools’ ‘Slack Tide’ below & check out the band’s UK dates:
OCTOBER
12 Bristol, Simple Things Festival
NOVEMBER
02 Bristol, Rise (album launch)
09 London, Betsey Trotwood
