Listen: Evian Christ Announces New EP, Streams ‘Salt Carousel’
Listen to the thick, abrasive cut on Evian Christ’s new ‘Waterfall’ EP.
The second Evian Christ EP comes after a guy who barely knew anything about his Tri Angle label got picked out by Kanye West to help produce ‘Yeezus’ and took on the US on the back of 2012’s ‘Kings and Them’.
His return comes in the form of ‘Waterfall’, a new EP released digitally and on vinyl in early 2014. Its lead track, ‘Salt Carousel’, is a predictably eerie taster, built on cutting minimalism and the kind of abrasive beats early-nighters wouldn’t touch with a bargepole.
