Listen: Flamingods Announce ‘Hyperborea’ Album, Stream Title-Track

London-based tribal folk experts release their second album this July.

Weirding out for another record, Flamingods have announced a new album, the follow-up to last year’s debut on Art Is Hard Records.

The Kamal Rasool-led band formed in 2009, also consisting of Charles Prest, Sam Rowe, Karthik Poduval and Craig Doporto, are bringing out their ‘Hyperborea’ album on 21st July via Shape.

They’re streaming the first taste of a follow-up to ‘Sun’ with the record’s title-track. Diving headfirst into tribal, oddball folk, it’s a continuation of the last record, with the ‘weirdo’ dial turned up a few notches.

Flamingods play a handful of dates this July and August. Check them out below the player.
