Aussie-born, London-residing futurepop newcomer George Maple set 2013 alight with a string of woozy, R&B-indebted tracks. Since then she’s stayed out of the spotlight, collaborating with a number of producers including Bondax and Slime.
Slime’s signature, loose horn sections are a fixture of new song ‘Began to Say’. Sparsely laid out, the song gets by on sweet, super slowed down headiness. It’s a collaboration coined in the blog heavens, and it’s streaming below.
