Listen: Grizzly Bear Stream New Track, ‘Listen And Wait’

have shared a new song from their expanded ‘Shields’ LP, which gives their 2012 release one last hurrah, with two new tracks, two demos, and remixes from the likes of Nicolas Jaar.

New song ‘Listen and Wait’ is taken from the ‘Shields’ sessions. Why it didn’t make the final cut is anyone’s guess. Chaotic and cerebral, the song takes in all the band’s trademark, multi-instrumented ambition, built around Daniel Rossen’s sombre performance.

‘Shields Expanded’ and ‘Shields B-sides’ will be released on 12th November. ‘…Expanded’ is a two-disc CD, while ‘B-sides’ gains a release on 12’ vinyl.
