Listen: Haleek Maul Shares Forest Swords Produced ‘Lobo’ Track

signature cloud-rap has gained a new backing, in the form of producer du jour Forest Swords. The two combine in some hellish cocktail of dark ideas.

Matthew Barnes’ production takes a signature route on ‘Lobo’, lending a ritualistic pulse to Maul’s impolite musings, which naturally being with the statement: ‘Fuck you’. Charming.

Forest Swords recently helped produced How To Dress Well’s ‘Total Loss’ record. There are some serious parallels between that record, this song and Barnes’ more recently unveiled solo material, taken from a full-length on Tri Angle Records.
