Listen: Halls Streams New Album ‘Love To Give’ In Full
No Pain In Pop release the waltzing, ambitious new album from London’s Sam Howard.
Next Monday (10th February) sees the release of South Londoner Sam Howard’s new Halls LP, ‘Love To Give’. Everything unveiled so far - the horn-led waltz of ‘Aside’, the intensely dusky ‘Waves’ - points to a musician expanding his horizons and then some.
The rest of the album backs this up, rich pads, bustling percussion and a thrashing aesthetic going several steps forward from the church walls sombreness of debut ‘Ark’.

Halls plays London’s Shacklewell Arms on 17th February.
