Listen: James Blake Remixes Kendrick Lamar’s ‘m.A.A.d. city’
On his R1 Residency, James Blake also remixed Outkast and Talking Heads.

James Blake took to the second of his BBC Radio 1 Residencies, a new monthly slot where he’s revealing exclusive material as well as occasionally ‘interviewing Burial.’
Last time round the Mercury Prize-winning producer shared a new song ‘40455’ for the first time, as well as remixing Beyonce’s ‘Drunk In Love’.
This second slot brought up a new remix under Blake’s Harmonimix guise, of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘m.A.A.d. city’. As well as this, there were remixes of Outkast and Talking Heads, and a second Burial interview slot (he ‘wanted to come back on the show.’)
Listen below to James Blake’s remix of Kendrick Lamar, which he recorded on a plane.
