Listen: Jamie XX Announces New Single, Streams ‘Sleep Sound’.
Jamie xx releases his first solo single since 2011 this May via Young Turks.
has announced the release of his first solo material since 2011. ‘Sleep Sound’ and ‘Girl’ follow on from debut ‘Far Nearer’. There was also the (not so) small case of his collaborative album with Gil Scott-Heron, ‘We’re New Here’.
The new single comes out through Young Turks on 5th May, via 12’ and digital download. Downlaod pre-orders are available from midnight on the 27th March - but you can pre-order the vinyl here.
‘Sleep Sound’ has been doing the rounds for a while, first previewed as an untitled track back in November 2013.
