Listen: Local Natives Self-Remix ‘Ceilings’, Start Remix Competition

One year to the good after the release of Local Natives’ second LP ‘Hummingbird’, the Infectious-signed band are plugging into their laptops and churning out remixes all in the name of a competition devoted to the very art.

For starters, they’ve self-remixed ‘Ceilings’, in some kind of musical inception-style act of lunacy. That’s available to listen to below. Alongside this, they’ve opened up a remix competition to fans, giving away all the stems for ‘Hummingbird’ and allowing fans to do their very best to create something at least 1/100th as good as the original.
