Listen: Marissa Nadler Announces ‘July’ LP, Streams ‘Dead City Emily’

Hymnal folk songwriter Marissa Nadler has announced details of her new, seventh studio album, titled ‘July’.

Due for release on Sacred Bones in North America and Bella Union in UK & Europe, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘The Sister’ is being headed up by a drifting, echoing piece titled ‘Dead City Emily’. Backed by layer upon layer of reverb, Nadler’s vocals weave affecting themes through a sleepy folk filter.
