Listen: Neneh Cherry And Robyn Collaborate On ‘Out Of The Black’

With the cast cropping up on her new album, it’d be easy for Neneh Cherry to get drowned out by the list of everyone else involved in ‘Blank Project’. So far, so good. With a Four Tet produced, RocketNumberNine-backed record out on 24th February, everything unveiled so far points towards killer songs superseding a killer cast.

New track ‘Out of the Black’ recruits Robyn (yep, she’s been quiet for a while but she’s touring with Royksopp this summer), in a song defined by minimal, jazz-linked percussion and barely there synth stabs. It’s all about the subtleties here, which is hard to remember when considering the fact it’s Neneh Cherry and Robyn collaborating (!) for the first time (!!).
