Listen: Oceaán Remixes Swim Deep’s ‘Honey’
B-towners go super-smooth thanks to one enigmatic Manchester producer.
Rising Manchester producer Oceaán is all about the deft touches. Less a hit to the guts, more a subtle sleight of hand, everything ‘Oliver Caen”s emerged with so far is still prone to making a big impact.
The latest example: ‘Honey’, a highlight from Swim Deep’s ‘Where The Heaven Are We’ debut, being spun into a slow, seeping number. It’s a remix in the loosest sense, as barely anything in the original is resembled in its fancy new gear.
