Listen: Pinkunoizu Sign To Full Time Hobby, Announce EP

Pinkunoizu have announced their signing to Full Time Hobby, and to celebrate, will be releasing an EP this autumn.

As a taster of the forthcoming ‘Peep’ EP, the band are offering up their track ‘Named Time Is Like A Melody’ for streaming now via Soundcloud.

Speaking to DIY, Lead vocalist Andreas Pallisgaard had this to say of the track: ”Time Is Like A Melody’” is the first recording ever made under the name of Pinkunoizu. A range of themes connected to the later works are being presented here. The apparently banal statement of the title functions as an opening; a revival of the idea of Time as being pliant and heterogeneous. The listener is connected to one of the most incomprehensible mysteries of being. The track reeks of a giving-in to an almost mystic embracement of the irrational, toughly met with a mathematical counter force controlling the course of events. For us Time Is Like A Melody is one of the more condensed compositions we’ve made. We see it like a piece of wax, capable of changing itself every time we play it. The building blocks are simple, which makes it fun to play around with.”



The band currently have two dates planned in the UK this year:

Pinkunoizu are currently working on their debut album, which is due for release next year.
