Listen: Prince Innocence Stream New ‘Dissipate’ Track

Montreal/Toronto duo take their shiny synth-pop to a new nostalgic level.

‘Dissipate’ has Talvi Faustmann and Josh Mcintyre in suitably nostalgic mood, rinsing a synth line Chromatics would be proud of with glimmers of light, coming through via Faustmann’s piercingly emotive vocal. The song discusses being in limbo ‘between what I want and need’ - shiny retro-enhanced synth-pop rarely sounds this poignant.
