Rina Sawayama, Orville Peck and Joesef unveil three new covers for Spotify Singles x Pride
The new campaign sees the three emerging LGBTQ+ artists paying tribute to their musical faves.
Following Spotify’s global pride campaign, Unlike Any Other, Spotify Singles have enlisted rising LGBTQ+ artists Rina Sawayama, Orville Peck and Joesef to cover their favourite musical heroines and heroes.
Recorded at their own homes, Rina takes on Lady Gaga’s ‘Dance In The Dark’, while Orville covers Bronski Beat’s 80s hit ‘Smalltown Boy’, and Joesef shares his reworking of ‘Thinking Of You’ by Sister Sledge.
