Listen: Sophie Jamieson Unveils ‘Other’ Track

London-based songwriter Sophie Jamieson is streaming ‘Other’, the appropriately-titled other half of her debut single ‘Stain’, out via Luv Luv Luv Records.

With ‘Stain’, haunting atmospherics crept in amongst sullen acoustics, but both extremes of these sides are taken to further lengths on ‘Other’. It’s the kind of song that’d accompany weeks of solitude in the countryside, with nothing but creeping strings and barely-there percussion to act as a companion.

This year’s Great Escape Festival in Brighton sees Sophie Jamieson play the BBC Introducing Stage at The Blind Tiger. She also supports the similarly-minded Wilsen this May. Check out forthcoming dates below the player.
