Listen: Sun Machine Unveil New Track, ‘Wild Heart’
Sun Machine’s second song to date is festival-ready and made for giants.

Days out in the sun with picnic baskets and cheap cider are all well and good, whether you’re a tasteless lad or just an average individual with a desire for Vitamin D. But with sunlight comes a sense of relaxation. When was the last time you threw a frisbee like your life depended on it? With their psych-doused outdoor mentality, Sun Machine - a new group from Sussex, based in London - somehow make the traditionally mundane sound epic, like a grand adventure.
On their debut track ‘Have You Seen It, It’s Alive’, thrashing riffs and jingling tambourines circuited the scene. ‘Wild Heart’ - the group’s second song to date - is another colossal work, inspired in equal parts by mind-expanding Pink Floyd-isms and luscious instrumentation by way of Grizzly Bear. Pulses beat faster to music like this.
