Listen: Superfood Cover Beastie Boys’ ‘(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)’
Listen to the literal rebirth of the 80s party scene, in a track taken from a new Infectious Music compilation.

aren’t exactly trying to shake off their 80s and 90s-obsessed reputation. A new cover of Beastie Boys’ 1986 hit ‘(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)’ cements this and more, hoisting the Birmingham four-piece up as retro enthusiasts with a serious cause.
The track forms part of a new compilation - titled ‘5’ - celebrating label Infectious Music’s fifth birthday. Also appearing on the release are Drenge, Local Natives, The Temper Trap and Cloud Control. Gus from alt-J is contributing three short stories, too.
On top of the release, Infectious are hosting a night at Dalston Victoria on 27th March, with Superfood amongst the attendees. Very new signings The Acid will also appear, alongside alt-J and Drenge. To attend the night, get your pitches in to [email protected].
