Listen: The Hold Steady Air ‘I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You’

Craig Finn and co. release their new album ‘Teeth Dreams’ this March.

As if they’re giving reference to all this time out of the spotlight, The Hold Steady have shared the lead track from their new album - it’s called ‘I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You’.

The track’s taken from a sixth album - out 25th March Stateside, UK details TBC - that follows on from 2010’s ‘Heaven Is Whenever’.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, frontman Craig Finn confirmed that ‘Teeth Dreams’ is something they’ve been working on for the past two years. He’s labelled it a ‘big rock record,’ saying ‘maybe it’s less wild but in some ways that makes it a bigger record.’
