Listen: The Neighbourhood Stream New Track, ‘Silver’

LA noir pop specialists The Neighbourhood have shared a new track, ‘Silver’, following on from the release of their 2013 debut ‘I Love You’.

Over in the US, Jesse Rutherford and co’s stock has gone skywards, with the ‘Sweater Weather’ single going Platinum.

‘Silver’ is a more abstract, less chart-leaning prospect, spinning abrasive synth lines alongside sweltering clarion calls and lightly-applied bells.

The song’s taken from a new release, ‘The Black and the White’ (‘#000000 and #FFFFFF’), due out in 2014. It’s a collection of tracks, ‘songs that are inspired by our thoughts while on the road.’
