Listen: Tirzah Streams ‘No Romance’ From New EP

On the basis of 12 months’ worth of material, Tirzah is a musician in denial. ‘I’m Not Dancing’, she declared last year, clearly shuffling feet beneath the beat. She’s now claiming to boast ‘No Romance’, in a song totally infatuated with a certain someone and the concept of love as a whole.

It’s a track that previews a new EP of the same name, out 21st April on Greco Roman. Micachu produces - just like on last year’s debut EP and 2009’s ‘Filthy Friends’ mixtape. If ‘I’m Not Dancing’ was a song defined by its fidgety, off-balance nature, this track shows Tirzah finding her feet, vocals coming out of their shell to oversee a sweet-as-bubblegum, understated pop number. Wonderful.
