Lower Than Atlantis unveil ‘Emily’ single, taken from their new LP

Mike Duce and co. release their self-titled album this October.

Lower Than Atlantis are set to return this October with their new, self-titled record. Mike Duce and co. have already revealed ‘English Kids in America’ from the album - now they’ve unveiled the accompanying A-side, ‘Emily’.

The track premiered last night on the Radio 1 Rock Show. Instant to the extreme, it links up with the previously unveiled giant in previewing the LP, out 6th October on Easy Life / Sony Red.

Speaking to DIY earlier this year about the new album, Duce said: “There’s only so far you can go with four blokes playing guitars, bass and drums. And now was the time to do whatever the fuck we wanted.

“There’s an American Football-y kind of thing. There’s strings in one song, which we’ve never done before, that’s pretty cool. And there’s a few electronics, which is new… but it’s all done tastefully!”
