Lynks launches new era with pulsing floor-filler ‘I Didn’t Come Here For Art’
“Straight mullet boys in Palace tees”, consider this shots fired.

Lynks is back - and they mean business. Having dropped their storming debut album ‘ABOMINATION’ last year, the masked polymath has now returned to kick-start their next chapter with new single ‘I Didn’t Come Here For Art’ - a takes-no-prisoners electro-punk anthem for anyone sick of the painfully cool London crowd.
Speaking on the track, Lynks has proclaimed: “You know, there’s only so many times you can go to an “event” at some trendy “multi-use space” and be subjected to a bunch of pretentious bullsh*t “art” performances while all the straight mullet boys in their Palace tees nod their heads thoughtfully before you have to think - hey, enough is enough. This track is my call to arms. End all art immediately!!!”
‘I Didn’t Come Here For Art’ - which gloriously descends into a rallying cry of “no more try-hard, spoken-word, art school shit!” - is our first impression of what Lynks has called their ‘Global Sex’ era, an international invitation to shake off self-consciousness and let your hair down.
