The Great Escape Festival announces Pete Doherty and Warmduscher for 2025 Spotlight Show; adds over 100 new names to lineup

The Great Escape has unveiled that none other than famed Libertine Pete Doherty will be joining the Brighton festival in May for a special Spotlight Show, performing alongside Warmduscher and Trampolene as part of a showcase from Strap Originals - Doherty’s own independent label.

It’s the second Spotlight Show TGE have announced so far - following confirmation that Rizzle Kicks will also be bringing the beachside fun this year - and both events will be ticketed separately to the main festival.

What’s more, TGE has also just added a huge number of new names to its 2025 lineup, including former DIY In Deep cover star Lynks, London art-rockers Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Manchester buzz band Westside Cowboy, and many, many more. In fact, there’s so much going on that this year’s festival will feature four full days of music for the very first time, with venues across the city throwing open their doors from Wednesday 14th May.

And finally, The Road To The Great Escape - TGE’s annual showcase events ahead of the weekend proper - are back with a bang, and will be hitting Glasgow’s beloved King Tut’s (9th and 10th May) and Dublin’s Whelan’s (12th and 13th May) to really amp up anticipation and spread the word about 2025’s stellar performers.

Taking place from 14th-17th May, The Great Escape 2025 will host over 450 (!) exciting new artists in 35+ venues across Brighton. You can find out more about the festival and nab tickets here, and check out the lineup so far below.
