M83 showcases ‘In The Cold I’m Standing’ video
The cut from his third album has been given the visual treatment
It may have been a while since M83 last released an album, but he’s still got a few new gems up his sleeve. To celebrate the re-release of his first three albums, Anthony Gonzalez has unveiled a video for ‘In The Cold I’m Standing’.
Taken from his third record, ‘Before The Dawn Heals Us’, the new clip was originally created for use at Gonzalez’s show at the Hollywood Bowl in September 2013, but now, in the wake of the album’s recent reissue, he has debuted it online.
A striking effort featuring a pair of actors in a moment of slow-mo intimacy, it matches the intense build of the track perfectly.

The unveiling of the new clip comes after M83 re-issued his first three records - his debut self-titled effort, ‘Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts’ and ‘Before the Dawn Heals Us’ - back in August. The producer has now also released two additional EPs, ‘Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts Remixes and B-sides’ and ‘Before The Dawn Heals Us Remixes and B-Sides’, which are available digitally through Naive.
