Listen to two new Mac DeMarco songs

The 2018 Met Gala was hosted last night (7th May), and everyone’s favourite goofball Mac DeMarco decided to mark the occasion by releasing a new 7”.

The ‘Met Gala - Red Carpet’ release, recorded on the red carpet itself (if Mac’s YouTube description for the tracks is to be believed), comprises new tracks ’She’s My Sweet’ and ‘Fuck the Toronto Raptors’ and, well, let’s say, they’re tongue-in-cheek at least.

Our Mac released his latest album ‘This Old Dog’ last year, where he also fronted the DIY Festival Guide.

Since then, he’s (sort of) covered Radiohead and announced a new split 7” with Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips.
