Maisie Peters marks her territory in Amelia Dimoldenberg-directed ‘My Regards’ video
It takes cues from the ’90s classic The Bodyguard, and features Benito Skinner as the fan-swamped star.

Sometimes, a little jealousy can be a good thing - just ask Maisie Peters, whose brand new song (the first to be lifted from her forthcoming third album ‘Florescence’) sees her firmly stake her claim to her boyfriend and his love.
Entitled ‘My Regards’, the track is a confident, tongue-in-cheek number that showcases a different side to her songwriting, inspired by what she calls “a lot of the country greats and their ‘stand by your man songs’.” Maisie’s modern day version, though, features a twist; as she has explained, “in this song I get to play the role of fierce protector instead of simpering love interest, which is so often how women have been depicted in relationships throughout history.”
What’s more, ‘My Regards’ has also arrived accompanied by a playful visualiser directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg and starring Benito Skinner, in which Maisie - à la Kevin Costner - quite literally fends off advances towards Benito’s movie star character.
It’s the second time she’s teamed up with Dimoldenberg, too, after the pair devised a brilliant Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging-inspired trailer to announce ‘Florescence’ (which is due out on 15th May). You can check that out here, and watch the video for ‘My Regards’ below.
