News Manchester Orchestra Hint At New Album Release Date
The American band posted the date ‘4.1.14’ from their Twitter account - possibly confirming that their fourth record is almost ready.
Last March, following the departure of previous bassist Jonathan Corley, Manchester Orchestra announced that they had begun work on the follow-up to 'Simple Math', the band's third album. We haven't heard much from the Atlanta-based 5-piece since then besides the band teaming up with Frightened Rabbit and Grouplove for a Record Day split 12', and a preview in the shape of 'After The Scripture' in October last year.
Despite singer Andy Hull saying 'We have a new record that's never going to come out,' at a show in New York last year, it looks like Manchester Orchestra have a release date for their fourth album after all. See the tweet for yourself below - and keep an eye on the band's mailing list for further updates.
