Meltdown Festival Reveals New Additions: CocoRosie, Light Asylum & More
This year’s Meltdown Festival is curated by Antony Hegarty.

Several new line up additions have been revealed for the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival, which will this year be curated by Antony Hegarty.
The new acts are as follows: Marc Almond, Laurie Anderson, Diamanda Galás, Elizabeth Fraser, CocoRosie, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, Vaginal Davis, Tenderloin, William Basinski, Janine Rostron (aka Planningtorock), Light Asylum, Marina Abramović, and Selda.
Speaking about his curation, Hegarty comments: “I want to create a kind of paradise. I want to walk through that forest and see and hear the hardcore beauty and strength in art and music that makes sense to me.’
Meltdown Festival is an annual event held at London’s Southbank Centre. It will take place from 1st - 12th August. For more information, visit southbankcentre.co.uk.
