Menace Beach return with fizzing ‘Tennis Court’ single

Leeds group deliver zero faults with a new single out this September.

Leeds bunch (an ever-evolving bunch, at that) Menace Beach have announced a new single, out 1st September on Memphis Industries.

A-side ‘Tennis Court’ is streaming now, arriving just in time for Wimbledon, minus the strawberries and cream. This monster sips nothing but warm gin - grizzly in delivery, it’s another fizzing effort from a cast that currently involves Ryan Needham (vocals, guitar) and Liza Violet (vocals / guitar / synths), Nestor Matthews (Drums), Matt Spalding (Bass) and MJ (Guitar). Boasting members of Pulled Apart By Horses and Hookworms, the band also welcome in all kinds of (semi) strangers when it comes to playing live. They’ve just announced a new run of UK dates, including two shows with The Cribs.

Menace Beach play the following shows:

JULY

11 Liverpool, East Village Arts Club

12 Reading, Sub89 (w/ The Cribs)

25 Sheffield, Tramlines (w/ The Cribs)

AUGUST

01 Derbyshire, YNot Festival

10 Skipton, Beacons Festival

SEPTEMBER

20 Portsmouth, Southsea Festival

Keep your eyes peeled for b-side ‘Lowtalkin’’, which features Joanna Gruesome’s Lan Mcardle on vocals.
