Mercury Prize 2013 To Be Televised In Full

This year’s Barclaycard Mercury Prize is set to be aired on television in full for the first time.

With Foals, Savages, David Bowie and Disclosure all in contention for the award, the 30th October ceremony will be aired out from London Roundhouse on UK channel More4 at 9.30pm. Channel 4 viewers will be able to tune in from 10pm to see Lauren Laverne reveal the winner.

The following day, an extended full broadcast will be aired out at 11pm on 31st October. Laverne will be joined by Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw as host.

Disclosure (pictured) are currently the bookies’ favourites to win the prize for their debut album, ‘Settle’.
