So far this week, Metallica have been on quite the musical role. Not only have they spent each of their evenings performing on The Late Late Show, but they’ve been bringing out the big guns for each of their appearances.

Last night, the four-piece took to the stage to perform their biggest hit in a bid farewell to the show’s host Craig Ferguson, who is due to leave the show at the end of 2014. They’ve already performed ‘Hit The Lights’, ‘Fuel’ and ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ as part of their residency and are due to play their last song this evening (Friday 21st November).

Alongside their set of appearances, the band have recently revealed a preview of the bonus footage taken from the 10th Anniversary re-release of their ‘Some Kind Of Monster’ documentary. Alongside the original film, the reissue will contain a set of interviews with the band, which were conducted at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival. The DVD and Blu-Ray is due out 24th November.
