Metric share new track, ‘Cascades’
The track comes from their forthcoming album ‘Pagans In Vegas’.
Toronto based synth-rockers Metric have shared a new track in the form of the robotic ‘Cascades’. The track is the second to be taken from their first album in three years, ‘Pagans In Vegas’, which is out in September this year.
‘Cascades’ is piled high with forceful synth lines and heavy basslines rumbling under ultra-distorted vocals. Metric had the following to say about the track:
“People of Tomorrow, here it is! “Cascades”, the song we consider the pounding heart of our new album,
Pagans in Vegas, set for release September 18, 2015. As always, we encourage
you to sing along with the robots. “Just keep…going strong…with
whatever it is…that’s compelling you on.” Xo metriclovesyou”
Listen to ‘Cascades’ below which comes alongside a suitably futuristic, neon-swathed video. Catch up with our verdict on ‘The Shade’ here.
