METZ return with two European dates
New album is due out this year - watch a trailer for ‘II’.
Canadian force METZ have announced their live return with two European shows.
The band will play London’s 100 Club and Paris’ Point FMR, leading towards the release of their second full-length.
Speaking to DIY in the new issue (out now), frontman Alex Edkins gave an update on progress for the new LP. “I really do think it’s an evolution of the first record,” he told Sarah Jamieson. “People who were into that record will certainly be into this one and if they didn’t like it, well, they’ll probably hate this one. I don’t think that we did anything drastic, we just did what felt good to us. I think we’ve improved as musicians and as songwriters.”
METZ are airing a trailer for the new album below - it’s out Spring 2015 on Sub Pop.
