Middlesbrough’s Twisterella Festival adds Punchbag, Legss, Zander and more to 2025 lineup
The all-dayer is set to return to venues across the city this October.

Twisterella Festival has shared the second wave of acts set to play its 11th edition next month - and, on this evidence, this year’s fest is shaping up to be a corker.
Among the new additions are self-described “hopecore” duo Punchbag (who played DIY’s Hello 2025 showcase back at the start of the year), evocative guitar outfit Legss, and indie newcomer Zander, all of whom will join already-announced names like Adult DVD, Swim School, Smith and Liddle and more.
Taking place on Saturday 11th October across multiple venues in Middlesbrough - including Teesside University Students’ Union and Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt - Twisterella is an award-winning festival that has a shining track record of showcasing some of the best names in new music before they get big (including Prima Queen, Dream Wife, and Sam Fender!).
Tickets for Twisterella 2025 are on sale now - nab yours here, and check out the full lineup poster (so far) below.
