Miguel shares new version of ‘Coffee’ featuring Wale

Miguel has shared a new version of ‘Coffee’, one of three tracks the singer uploaded to his Soundcloud account as a surprise EP release in late 2014.

Featuring a guest verse from rapper Wale, the newly retitled ‘Coffee (Fucking)’ is the updated version that is expected to feature on ‘Wild Heart’, the follow-up to Miguel’s 2012 album ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’. The single was shared with a purchase link via iTunes, and what could be the cover art for ‘Wild Heart’ in the YouTube clip.

In February 2015, RCA Executive Mark Pitts confirmed in an interview with Billboard that the new release is “90 percent done”. Asked about more details, Pitts told the website that “Its working title is Wild Heart and we’re talking second quarter [April-June].”

Since sharing the updated version of ‘Coffee’, Miguel has since pulled the three-track EP from Soundcloud, which included the tracks ‘Nwa’ (which features rapper Kurupt) and ‘Hollywooddreams’.
