On the telly
Wolf Alice, Miguel, Little Simz play Jools Holland
Catch up with highlights from last night’s edition.
Last night (20th October) saw Wolf Alice making their UK telly debut with a performance on Later… with Jools Holland.
For the live edition, they picked out the fantastic ‘You’re a Germ’ from debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’, performing just a few hours after arriving back from their North American tour.
The Mercury Prize nominees were joined by smooth talker Miguel (his fired-up rendition of ‘Coffee’ is a highlight from this series) and returning giants Duran Duran for performances on the show. Little Simz, Public Image Ltd. and Frazey Ford completed the bill.
The last in the series of Jools will feature sets from Elbow frontman Guy Garvey, plus Jamie Woon and Dave Gahan.
