Mineral share ‘Aurora’, their first new music in 20 years

They’ve also announced a world tour in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary.

Mineral have shared new song ‘Aurora’ - their first new music in two decades!

The 8-minute track has been released in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary alongside a limited edition book, called ‘One Day When We Are Young: Mineral At 25’. The book will come with a 10-inch, double A-side single featuring the new song alongside a second song ‘Your Body Is The World’.

It also includes a written history of the band by journalist Mischa Pearlman, new interviews with the band and contributions from members of Jimmy Eat World, Cursive, Texas Is The Reason, The Chemical Romance and more. The book will be out January 4, 2019 via House Arrest.

The band have also announced a world tour, covering the US, Canada, Japan, the UK and Europe. Mineral broke up in 1997, after less than four years together. The new dates will be the band’s first live dates since they completed a reunion tour in 2015. See the band’s UK & European tour dates and listen to the new song below.
