Minus The Bear are releasing new album ‘VOIDS’ in March

They’ve just shared ‘Invisible’ from their first LP in five years.

Seattle rockers Minus The Bear are back! Five years after ‘Infinity Overhead’ they’ve announced that their new album ‘VOIDS’ will be out on 3rd March.

It’s been produced by Sam Bell (The Cribs, Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club) and promises to deliver a bit of a change in vibe, with keyboardist and singer Alex Rose taking more of a prominent role. “There was a lot of change and uncertainty,” said guitarist David Knudson in a statement, “I think the general vibe of emptiness, replacement, lacking, and longing to fill in the gaps was very present in everyones’ minds.”

The band have shared a first taster of ‘VOIDS’ in the shape of ‘Invisible’. It’s a typically rhythmic affair stuffed full to the brim with stuttering but euphoric hooks, stabbing guitar riffs and little flashes of glitchy synths.

They’ve also announced a 29-date tour of the US, where they’ll be joined by Beach Slang (who’ve just announced a brand new covers EP) and rhythmic electronic producer Bayonne. That’s a lot of bang for your buck.
